Job description:

We are currently looking for a Senior Buyer to join the Procurament/ Purchasing team and support the sourcing and supply strategy for packaging and chemical raw materials.

The mission of the role is to ensure the efficient procurement of production materials while guaranteeing quality standards, supplier reliability and cost optimization across the supply chain.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Managing and coordinating the procurement process based on company production needs and demand planning.

• Negotiating commercial and supply conditions with existing and potential suppliers.

• Identifying, scouting and qualifying new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with current partners.

• Monitoring supplier performance and ensuring compliance with quality and company standards.

• Visiting suppliers to verify capabilities, production standards and quality compliance.

• Collaborating closely with internal departments such as Production, Planning, Quality and Finance to ensure supply chain continuity and efficiency.

• Monitoring purchasing budgets and analyzing cost variations to ensure competitiveness of the final product.

• Identifying opportunities to optimize procurement costs and processes.

**The role involves frequent travel, including international supplier visits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field.

• 3–5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles, preferably within cosmetics, packaging, chemical or manufacturing industries.

• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

• Experience working with international suppliers and managing sourcing processes.

• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

• Fluent Italian and English are required. Spanish is considered a plus.

• Availability to travel frequently.
